Human.ExeLegalCookie Policy
Effective: April 2, 2026 · ALSI Inc. · human-exe.ca
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to remember information about your session — such as authentication state and security tokens — across page loads.
We use cookies sparingly. Human.Exe does not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party marketing pixels. Our approach is minimal by design: we only set cookies that are technically necessary to operate the Service securely.
2. Cookies We Use
We use two categories of cookies:
__cf_bm30 minutesCloudflare Bot Management — distinguishes legitimate users from automated bots. Required for DDoS protection and abuse prevention.
Third-party (Cloudflare Inc.)cf_clearance30 minutes to 24 hoursCloudflare challenge clearance — records that a visitor has passed a security challenge. Required for edge-level security.
Third-party (Cloudflare Inc.)_cfuvidSessionCloudflare rate limiting — used to identify individual users for rate limiting purposes.
Third-party (Cloudflare Inc.)hxe_sessionSession (cleared on browser close)Human.Exe session token — maintains your authenticated session state. Required to use authenticated features of the Service.
First-party (ALSI Inc.)3. Cookies We Do NOT Use
We do not use:
- Advertising or retargeting cookies
- Analytics cookies that track you across sites (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Pixel)
- Social media tracking cookies
- Fingerprinting or canvas-based tracking techniques
- Persistent preference cookies beyond what is required for authenticated sessions
Aggregate, anonymized platform usage metrics are collected by Cloudflare at the edge and are not cookie-based. They cannot be used to identify individual users.
4. Cloudflare Cookies
human-exe.ca is protected by Cloudflare. Cloudflare sets cookies on your device as part of providing DDoS protection, bot management, and edge security services. These cookies are necessary for the Service to operate securely and cannot be opted out of without disabling security protections.
For more information on how Cloudflare uses cookies, see the cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
5. How to Manage Cookies
Because we only use essential cookies, blocking them will impair the functionality of the Service — authentication and security protections depend on them. We do not offer a cookie preference centre as there is nothing non-essential to opt out of.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings:
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
- Firefox: Preferences → Privacy and Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Cookies and site data
Note that clearing Cloudflare security cookies may cause security challenge prompts on your next visit until a new clearance cookie is issued.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as the Service evolves. The effective date will be updated to reflect any changes. During the pre-launch phase, the cookie use described here is minimal and unlikely to expand without an updated policy.
